Education Information

Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum has been closely monitoring the reforms Mayor Bloomberg has made since taking control of the New York City public school system in 2002. Often she has criticized the Mayor's policies and advocated for better access to information for parents, teachers and other school employees, and advocates.

In order to help parents and teachers of public school children, many of whom say they cannot access information through the Department of Education, Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum has developed several useful guides and resources.
